SPF Europe supplies equipment like reactors and vessels provided with Sun-Z-R cladded Tantalum, Zirconium, Niobium, Titanium or Nickel alloys to clients who have specific requirements for corrosion resistant service such as full vacuum, agitating, elevated temperatures. With the applicable pressure vessel codes depending on the destination country like: JIS, Class 1 Pressure Vessel, Class 2 Pressure Vessel, ASME VIII, PED 97/23/EG, AD-Merkblatter, Stoomwezen etc.

Colomns

The production of distillation columns, rectifying columns, extraction columns, reactors and other with our Sun-Z-R cladding system to flexibly meet the user’s requirements.

Heat exchangers

The suplly and full service of thermal calculations, design and assembly of heat exchangers, depending on the applicable standard and code. The fixed tube sheet design and the U-tube constructions are most frequently applied, with the corrosive medium being allocated in the tube side.

Sun-Z-R Cladding Technology

With SPF Showa Entetsu’s patented Sun Z-R cladding technology a steel, copper or aluminium support structure can be clad with a thin but extremely corrosion restistant linning of Ta, Ti, Nb or Zr. The corrosion restistant metal, from 0.6 to 1.5 mm in thickness, is bonded to the support construction by resistance wel-ding.

A futher improvement of the Sun Z-R clad technology is found in the patented submerged bus bars.
